Bo and Hope are reeling after hearing the message from Billie: "Bo -- help -- Salem Stalker -- I know who it is -- I have proof." Now Bo must seriously re-think his position. Hope urges him to go to Europe and try to find Billie. Bo is torn. What if this is a set up? Hope counters: last time, Billie was the one who was set up. This time, it must be legit. Spector, from the ISA, concurs. Billie really needs Bo's help. If he can save her, he can finally nail the serial killer. Bo finally agrees to go. Spector leaves and Hope goes upstairs to pack Bo's bag. Shawn arrives and must say goodbye to his father. After Shawn leaves, Bo sees Hope has packed two bags. Hope is determined to go with Bo. An adamant Bo will not allow it. She has to stay in Salem to be there for the family. Finally, Bo convinces her. They make love one more time before Bo has to leave. Bo says goodbye to Zack. Bo and Hope are privately aware this could be their final goodbye. He begs her to stay safe while he's gone. As soon as Bo leaves, we see the Salem Stalker lurking outside the house. Shawn confronts Tony at the tiger cage. Tony is trying to get on the tiger's transcendental wavelength. Shawn is suspicious when Tony talks about the tiger being the perfect instrument of death for a clever killer. We see the killer lurking and listening. Tony catches a glimpse of a black-hooded figure, goes in pursuit, but the killer gets away. Shawn is skeptical. He thinks Tony would do anything to keep himself from looking guilty. Brady meets with his dad and John tries to advise him on how to deal with Nicole and Victor. Brady is afraid they might hurt each other, but doesn't reveal that they are accusing each other of murder. John advises his son to stay out it. Brady says he will, but we know he can't. John meets with Shawn and worries about Belle's reaction to the problems between her parents. He also hears about the message Bo got from Billie. Tony meets privately with Victor. Nicole, hiding nearby, listens, unnoticed. Victor tells Tony that Nicole murdered Colin Murphy and, he believes, she killed all the other victims to cover up her crime. Nicole is aghast when it looks like Victor is using Tony to put a hit on her. Nicole goes home and tries to convince Brady that Victor is the guilty one. He murdered Colin and now he wants to pin that murder and all the serial killings on Nicole. Victor enters and blasts his wife. A furious Nicole takes off and Brady doesn't know whom to believe.

Salem residents wake up to an anonymous ad in the newspaper announcing that the identity of the serial killer will be revealed today at the Horton Foundation fundraiser circus! Everyone is shocked and intrigued. John tells Hope he believes the ad was placed by Tony, in hopes of throwing suspicion off himself. Upon returning from Tony's, Hope gets a call from Bo in Europe. Bo updates her on the search for Billie. Hope chooses not to tell Bo about Tony's intention to name the killer. She's still distressed over her dream of seeing Bo's gravestone. She wants to keep her husband out of danger. Celeste warns Tony he may have signed his death warrant by publishing the ad. She remembers her premonition and seeing the tiger's eyes, the same tiger brought into Salem for the circus, through the killer's mask. Hope and John barge in. John demands DiMera name the killer right now. But Tony tells them they'll have to wait for the circus. Hope warns Tony the cops and the ISA won't allow him to enter the circus tent. After they leave, Celeste hopes Tony has changed his mind about going to the circus. Tony is determined. Celeste arrives at the circus. After a small crate is delivered, Celeste happens by, sees Tony miraculously emerge, prepared to face the killer. Belle freaks when she reads the ad about the serial killer being revealed. Shawn brings Belle over to see Hope and John. Hope reassures them: the cops and the ISA will handle security. Later, Shawn and Belle visit Marlena who is with Jan in a therapy session. Marlena covers with Shawn and Belle, averting a close call. Shawn and Belle arrive at the circus to practice their "act" with Rex, Mimi and Philip. Jan reveals to Marlena she has made a new friend. Jan shows Marlena a tabloid headline in The Intruder exploiting Marlena and John's breakup. Marlena is distressed by the publicity. Later, Jan secretly meets with her new friend, Nicole. If Jan wants to get her hands on Shawn, she has to do Nicole's bidding. Mimi and Rex arrive early to prepare for the circus. Mimi is outraged by her mother's plans to use her dog in a rodeo act. First, Bonnie must find the dog, who runs off. Lucas and Philip find unconscious Kate in her room with an empty pill bottle at her bedside. They learn she threw the sleeping pills away, but she's hung over, still mourning Roman. She wants them to leave her alone. Philip gives her some tough love, but she kicks him out. After seeing the ad, however, she shows up at the circus. Lucas runs into Sami at the circus tent. Sami is determined to make Kate pay for Roman's death. Lucas warns Sami not to try anything. Sami fantasizes about doing a circus act and cutting Kate in half with a real saw! When Kate arrives, Sami begins to scheme: if she can make it look like an accident, Sami could kill Kate and get away with it! Brady overhears Victor threaten Nicole's life. Victor insists that when the serial killer is revealed it will be Nicole's last day of freedom. Later, Nicole listens in on a phone call as Victor urges Tony to announce Nicole as the killer. Nicole cannot let that happen, and she exits with a purpose. Later, Brady catches sight of Nicole at the circus. Max the dog sniffs out the killer, who has also made it into the big top. A showdown looms!

Mom can't kill this baby like she killed Daddy! Jennifer refuses to confide in Abby about the risk to her own life. She feels her daughter has been through enough. Hope calls Doug, Julie and Alice away from the Horton fundraiser to be at Jennifer's side at the hospital and to lend support. Lexie has to give Jennifer the bad news. The circus is in full swing as Sami takes aim at Kate with a very sharp knife. Lucas escapes from the porta-potty to whip the knives out of Sami's hand and rescue Kate. Sami turns her knife on John and Marlena begs her not to hurt him. Emotional Sami says she has no intention of hurting anyone, she just wanted John and Kate to know how her father felt at the other end of a knife she breaks down into tears. Lucas, furious, wants this to be her last stunt but, to everyone's surprise, Kate intercedes. Marlena and Sami have a heart-to-heart talk and Sami expresses remorse for some of her previous actions; she begs her mother to protect herself from John. Doug has a close encounter with the killer who has just placed a bucket of blood on the catwalk. A few drops fall onto Alice's birthday cake near where Bonnie stands. Bonnie now dressed as a clown has lost her contacts in the dunk tank and cannot see the blood. Tony is about to name The Salem Stalker just as he/she opens the door to the tiger's cage.
