Hope told them her story and they were shocked by the picture she had. Earl commented that there couldn't be two of them. Hope ignored their warnings and proceeded into the swamp. However, a mysterious stranger through a rock at her and knocked her out. Hope, with a bruised head and ego, returned to her hotel.

Billie Brady came out to the Bayour in search of Bo and Hope. Billie passed out in the Bayou and was found by Wayne and Earl. Erlene, there mother, instructed her boys to bring Billie inside. Erlene was a midwife and told Billie she was in labor. Billie had a baby girl, but she was still born. Erlene, Wayne, Earl, and Billie all held a funeral for the baby, who Billie had named Georgia. After the funeral, Swamp Girl put the compact she had stolen from Hope on the grave. Billie found it and because a G was engraved on it, she thought it was a sign from God and took the compact.
Later, Bo Brady went down to the bayou and heard Wayne and Earl talking about the Swamp Girl. Knowing she existed, Bo set out to find her to help Hope.

When Bo found her she was rocking herself back and forth humming Bo and Hope's song. Swamp Girl eventually runs off and Bo realized he has to become a part of her world. Bo cut his clothes up like hers and spread mud on his face like she did. Swamp Girl and Bo eventually began to bond, when suddenly Bo was struck by lightening. Before going down, Swamp Girl screamed out bo's name. Swamp Girl stayed with Bo and took care of him, but Wayne and Earl kidnapped her and locked her in a cage.
