Tina Ivlev has landed
the role of "Kelly" and first airs on Friday, December 12.
Marsha Waterbury will be appearing as Sister Theresa when
Sami shows up in a convent. Look for her first air on Wednesday November 26.

Daytime actress Sandra Robinson (formerly known as Sandra Ferguson) will be
coming to Salem as Dr. Charlotte Taylor. To find out when she's show up, who

All My Children's John Callahan will be playing the latest doctor to
sail into Salem's harbor.
We don't know much about him so far, except that he'll be interacting
quite a bit with knocked-up Nicole. .. For Callahan's first airdate and more, read

"Port Charles" alum
Alex Mendoza (ex-Joe) will
hit Salem as The Killer, starting Friday, October 17.

Passions alum
Eric Marstolf is coming to Salem! As you may recall, Days recently
quashed chatter that Martsolf was on his way. Turns out they were stalling and,
as rumored, the man who played Theresa's true love Ethan will take on the
role of Brady Black, who returns to Salem mid November to settle unresolved
issues with Chloe.
Erin Chambers has been tapped to play Theo's babysitter, Lacey. She already
appeared on the September 19 episode and will next show up on Thursday, October 9th.

Former "Tonight Show" cut up Ross Matthews
is returning to Salem as Chris and this time, he'll show up as Kate's assistant, on Tuesday, September 9th.
Fans are likely to see him for visits after that as well. Get more on the story at

Freda Foh Shen
joins the cast as
Eleanor Thomas and first airs Thursday, September 18.
Terrell
Tilford returns to the role of Dr. Carrington on Friday, September 5.
Jensen Higley, the
18-year-old daughter of Days' head-scribe Dena Higley, has been playing
Melanie's "friend" Susan since August 4!
Bryan
Friday is the man behind the mask! Word is, Bryan has quite the rep as
a stuntman. Hopefully, that means things with Marlena's stalker are going to get
interesting!
In case you were wondering, that's
Brandon
DeShazer playing Harry, the detective who's been working the computer
at the Salem PD.

Days
can report another loss in the casting department... Blake Berris
(Nick) will be out by early next year.

Days Loses Deidre Hall and Drake Hogestyn!
 The
end of John and Marlena? Following on the news last week that Jay
Kenneth Johnson will be departing from the cast (see story
here, more bad news is coming out for Days fans. Find out why the show

Grandpa Shawn (portrayed by Frank Parker) unfortunately died on
February 15th and the character left the show. This is expected to be the
last date he'll air in a new show, though there could be flashbacks of him

Alison Sweeney &
Lauren Koslow
are staying put, contrary to recent rumors. In fact, Alison
will be working well into the holidays, as long as her pregnancy has her feeling
up to it.
Thaoo Penghlis (Tony DiMera) has renewed his
contract with the show!
Darin Brooks (Max) is reportedly staying in the mix, having signed his new
contract with the show.
InRich.com, a local Virginia newspaper, has reported that "I Wanna Be A Soap
Star" winner Ashlee Holland has been offered and accepted a three year contract
with Days! Originally she was only to have won a 13 week contract role with the
show.
As of August 2007, Kristian Alfonso (Hope) has re-signed with the show for 2
more years.
As of May 2006, Josh Taylor (Roman) recently re-signed with the show for 2
