Roman and Kates Vows 12/30/03
Roman and Kate were married on New Years' Eve Salem Time at Tuscany. They did not have a priest to marry them though, I think it was a judge or court official (the captions just called him "man")
Roman: Hello gorgeous.
Kate: Oh, I can't believe we're actually doing this.
Roman: Believe it.
Man presiding over the vows: Friends and family, we have come together on this joyous occasion to witness the joining of two lives, two hearts, and two souls. It was a short walk up this aisle for this beautiful bride just now but if you know anything about these two you know the long road they have both traveled to be here at this moment. Now I have just spoken to Roman and Kate briefly, but I'm confident that they fully understand the love and loyalty and hard work it takes to have a successful marriage. Now the happy couple have requested a brief and informal ceremony, so I'll get right to it. Roman, Kate, it is my solemn duty to remind you not to enter into marriage lightly, but with a reverence and a deep commitment. I'm sure without any doubt that you're well aware of what you're getting into.
Roman: You bet I do, now let's not waste any more time.
Man presiding over the vows: Now that we've got that settled, I do have to ask one question before we get to the vows, the rings and all that good stuff. If anyone here knows of just cause of why these two people should not be lawfully wedded, speak now or forever hold your peace.

Man presiding over the vows: Do you, Roman Brady, take this woman, Kate Roberts to be your lawfully wedded wife?
Roman: I do.
Man presiding over the vows: Kate Roberts, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?
Kate: Oh I do.
Man presiding over the vows: Roman do you have a token of your love?
Man presiding over the vows: Roman, I believe you wanted to say something?
Roman: This ring I put on your finger is a circle without end, just like my love for you.
(Roman puts the ring on Kate's finger)
Man presiding over the vows: And Kate do you have a token of your love?
(Kate puts the ring on Roman's finger)
Kate: Roman, I hope that you'll remember this moment always. Today I give you this ring, and I give you my heart. Oh there's so many things that I want to say to you, and theres so many promises that I want to make. But right now I can't even think of what they are. Because all I can think about is how much I love you. So the promise that I make to you today is that I will love you always, all the days of my life.
Roman: I love you so much too Kate, and I'm so glad that you love me.
Man presiding over the vows: Well it's a darn good thing, because I'm going to exercise the authority vested in me by the city of Salem and pronounce you husband and wife.
